Daniel Donnie Flores was born in 1989 and is a native of Long Beach, Ca. His love of photography started in 2007, when he was introduced to the basics of b&w photography, and the traditional darkroom, in high school. Currently he is completing his degree in photography at Long Beach City College while working at Evox, a production company specializing in photographing automobiles for clients such as Subaru, Kelly Blue Book, and many others. His work has been included in multiple group exhibitions and his main interest as a photographer is in still life and portraiture.

The fact that you’re struggling doesn’t make you a burden. It doesn’t make you unloveable or undesirable or undeserving of care. It doesn’t make you too much or too sensitive or too needy. But those things aren’t all of who you are and they certainly don’t discount your worth as a human being. The truth is that you can be struggling and still be loved. You can be difficult and still be cared for. You can be less than perfect, and still be deserving of compassion and kindness.
